This is a fool proof hard gainers guide. You will gain 10 pounds in two weeks following this protocol, and it can be almost entirely muscle. However, it’s up to you how much of the weight gain is fat and how much is muscle. I have used this method 3 times in my lifetime, and my brother has used it once. Yes, it’s difficult. Yes, it works really freaking well. This is my number one hard gainers guide to gain weight!

Okay. Disclaimer. This involves a bit of a binge, but the results are tremendous. I recommend that you use this method VERY SPARINGLY. As I said before, I have only done this 3 times in the past 9 years.

That being said, this is my hard gainers guide to gaining:

Go to your local grocery store, and find something called Heavy Whipping Cream in the dairy section. A single quart contains approximately 3200 calories

  1. Drink 1 full quart of heavy whipping cream every day for 2 weeks.
  2. Lift every day during this binge weight gain to avoid fat gain as much as possible.
  3. Mix whatever you like with this to make it palatable.
  4. Do not blend the heavy whipping cream as it will turn into butter.

If you want to make it into a shake:

  • 1 cup of fruit
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 quart of heavy whipping cream

Blend the fruit, yogurt, and orange juice. Then, add the heavy whipping cream. The whipping cream will thicken considerable if you blend it. SO DO NOT BLEND THE HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM!

Side notes:

  • Do your best to eat your regular meals in addition to the cream
  • Eat nutrient dense foods
  • Hydrate
  • Supplement with a multi-vitamin

I’m going to reiterate. This binge diet requires a stout resolve. It is essential that you are lifting every day to avoid fat gain. It is also essential that you drink an entire quart every day, if you want this to succeed. My brother is a classic ectomorph. Very lean. He did intense sessions of pushups, pullups, and sit ups every day, and was incredibly strict about drinking the entire quart every day. He gained 10 pounds of LEAN MUSCLE. Naysayers will be naysayers, but it was all lean muscle. Maybe it was because he was going through a growth spurt. Anyway, have fun gaining!
