There are a ton of herbs and unknown fungi in this mysterious world that potentially have the ability to cure disease altogether. We call these blessings superfoods. I’ve read about people with lifespans that make a skeptic out of the open-minded, but to be perfectly honest, I really do believe that this world holds the keys to any health related problem in existence. At the very least the items on this list will take you a step closer to a healthy lifestyle.
Coconut oil, olive oil, REAL butter, flax seed oil, safflower oil, are just a few of the most beneficial. Watch out for low quality oils! Only buy unrefined coconut oil, the refined sort is useless in my opinion. Coconut oil has the ability to cure diseases of the mind. I’m talking about Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, you name it. I always keep a tub of this stuff on hand. Put a dollop in your morning coffee, eat a spoonful straight out of the tub three times a day, cook your eggs with it. The uses abound. If you want to check if you bought real unprocessed olive oil, put it in the fridge and if it coagulates, you have low quality olive oil. I’m not sure if this method applies to the other healthy fats. Grab an avocado for your lunch every day or make guacamole. This is a great way to get your healthy fats in.
Probiotics!! Kimchi, kefir, kombucha, yogurt, sauerkraut.
Have you heard of any of these foods? If not, it’s time you had. Kimchi fermented vegetables, kefir is practically fermented milk (no, it’s not just sour milk), kombucha is a fermented tea drink. Fermentation! It’s the key to getting all the probiotics you could ever ask for. If you have ever take probiotic supplements, I’m here to tell you that the number of probiotics in these foods have anywhere from 10 to 30 TIMES the amount you get in a pill. You can learn all you need on Youtube to make these foods.
Any food grown a garden
Here’s my take on mass produced food that you buy from stores. That bag of apples you bought probably came from a huge apple orchard. You would probably ask what’s wrong with that. Well where do our nutrients come from? Minerals in the ground. Every time a tree grows and we strip the apples from it, we are taking nutrients away. Mass production is raping the earth of its nutrients… Process that. Now, at your grandma’s house in the country she has an apple tree. She has lived at that house her whole life. In other words, the ground there has tons of minerals and nutrients untouched by mass production. THIS IS WHY YOUR GRANDMA’S APPLES TASTE SO MUCH BETTER! They have a ton more nutrients than any apples you could ever find in a store. The same applies to any green foods you buy in stores. Go home, start a garden, and thank me for waking you up.
This one is easy and fairly tasty. Whenever you have chicken or turkey, keep the bones and use them! It’s a simple concept though.
- 1 pound of beef, chicken, or turkey bones
- 2 or 3 carrots (chopped)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 to 4 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (preferably Bragg’s brand)
- 1 tablespoon unrefined sea salt
- Enough water to cover all the bones
Toss the ingredients into a crockpot and simmer for the next 24 to 48 hours. Then, pour the ingredients through a strainer and into a mason jar, and toss the bones and veggies in the trash.This is in my opinion the best source of minerals you will ever find. I’ve heard that it can aid with the flu-like symptoms one might experience during ketosis. It’s low calorie, it’s low carb, and it’s practically a tasty soup.
